The weather has been spoiling us for some time now. We are going to have the first tomato crop pretty soon. Surprisingly enough the Early Girl isn't the first to ripe this season. The Russian Black Prince has the largest fruits so far. The Better Boy is the second one to follow. Can't wait to taste them. I planted them in the same spot the third year in the row. We'll see if we get any diseases. So far they are very vigorous and healthy.

The beach season has officaly started!
Yes, we made it to the beach last weekend! It was the first time this season.
Zosia had so much fun splashing in the ice cold Atlantic. I don't know how kids survive in a cold water like this. I wouldn't take a dip without a wetsuits:)
We went to our favorite Crane Beach.

Garden Update!
I haven't been able to get any shots of my veggie garden yet. It looks like it's going to be a great tomato season. My heirlooms have bigger fruits than the hybrids. The reason for it is that the weather has been spoiling us for some time now. Tomato pictures will be posted next time and here are some of my gorgeous flowers.
Please enjoy!
My recent addition very fragrant Abraham Darby rose.

Parents' Essentials
There are some must haves when having kids. I'm sure every parent can name their own. I would say that number one is a big car commonly known as mini van:). Number two is an outdoor space. It's best when it has some grass growing and some bugs living in it. The grass lets kiddo run to exhaustion and bugs are for entertainment and diet enrichment.

Garden Update. What's in bloom! Co slychac w ogrodku!
The yard was very neglected, when we moved to our house 3 years ago. There was not much landscaping done, apart from the two dying rhododendrons and a dried out lawn. However we could see a potential in it. We loved the mature, massive oaks growing above our heads and the natural boulders that had been left by the glacier. What it was missing, was just a loving care. Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to dedicate to it. Giving birth to two kids was enough work in itself. This past Spring I finally started doing some real "yard work":)
And here are the first results.

This is my favorite lily so far. It is called Chinese Trumpet Lily Regale.
I got a bunch of lily bulbs from the on-line source last October. This is the first one to bloom. The size of the flower is incredible and the fragrance is intoxicating.
No more bulbs buying from Home Depot:)

10 seconds photo session!
Little sister didn't like the idea of being in the basket. This is all I was able to get with the manual lens and crying bambino...
